Welcome to the wonderful world of Barb Uhrig!! This doll artist is a master with clay and fleece.

     Being a shepherdess on the western praries of South Dakota, Barb is busy with her flock of Cheviot sheep and making dolls. Being a leather and western artist for the past 40 years, Barb has returned to a heartfelt love of sculpting. Instead of potters clay Barb has found polymers clay and dolls. Not only do her santas bring your attention to the details in their every being, but the details are extended to the props around them. Every sculpture is one-of-a-kind made by only Barb. This way she can say "This santa was made by only me for you!"

     Barb shears her sheep by hand and inspects the fleece to get the perfect ones to wash for beards and ones to be spun for yarn.

     Limited numbers are made every year with special attention to the commission work.
